Entry Requirements

Completion of High School / A-Levels / STPM / IB Diploma / UEC or equivalent

Polytechnic Diploma may also be accepted for direct entry into universities
Language requirements

Most programs are taught in English

IELTS Academic: typically 6.0–6.5 overall

TOEFL iBT: typically 70–90

Some institutions may accept alternative English qualifications or waive requirements if prior studies were in English
Requirements to obtain a student visa

Offer letter from a Singapore institution

Apply for Student’s Pass via ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority)

Proof of sufficient financial support for tuition and living expenses

Valid passport and completed eForm16

Medical examination (if required)
Fees

Tuition fees: approx. SGD 12,000 – 20,000 per year (public universities, subsidized rates for eligible students)

Private institutions: SGD 10,000 – 30,000 per year
