Entry Requirements

• Completion of High School / A-Levels / STPM / IB Diploma / UEC or equivalent

• Polytechnic Diploma may also be accepted for direct entry into universities

Language requirements 

​

• Most programs are taught in English

• IELTS Academic: typically 6.0–6.5 overall

• TOEFL iBT: typically 70–90

• Some institutions may accept alternative English qualifications or waive requirements if prior studies were in English

Requirements to obtain a student visa

​

• Offer letter from a Singapore institution

• Apply for Student’s Pass via ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority)

• Proof of sufficient financial support for tuition and living expenses

• Valid passport and completed eForm16

• Medical examination (if required)

Fees

• Tuition fees: approx. SGD 12,000 – 20,000 per year (public universities, subsidized rates for eligible students)

• Private institutions: SGD 10,000 – 30,000 per year

• Living costs: approx. SGD 10,000 – 15,000 per year

• January and August (varies by institution)

• Some private institutions may offer multiple intakes throughout the year
